Maple Flat Peak

This sticky-uppy, which I describe as Squaw Peak's sister summit, is a peak that I've eyeballed for many years...including an outstanding view from my work. I actually attempted it last year, but it was such a nasty bushwhack fiasco that I said "screw it" before reaching the summit and turned back. This year I charted a "bushwhack of least resistance" course using satellite imagery and GPS waypoints. This did the trick, bushwhack was minimal...until my GPS batteries died, that is...and I had a nasty b-whack back. Doh!
