Pinnacles National Park

I recently discovered that California now had NINE national parks, instead of eight like I had previously thought for a long time...one Pinnacles National Park. As of 2013, that is. Apparently it's the nation's newest national park. I prided myself in having visited all of CA's NP's, so when I found out my work was sending me to San Francisco to do some training, naturally I had to work it in. :) Pinnacles, although I got rained on quite a bit, was unexpectedly pretty. Very green, even in February. I hit Bear Gulch Cave, and the High Peaks Trail, which showcases some of the great rock climbing in the park.
