My buddy Marco moved to Houston, TX about 8 years ago or so and I'd been meaning to visit for years. Once I saw Memorial Day weekend was going to be rainy in Utah, I found a deal on a flight and pulled the trigger. We visited Johnson Space Center in Houston, saw some alligators and fireflies (a first for me). I checked out the River Walk and the Alamo in San Antonio. And lastly Marco and I drove 7 hours to Hot Springs National Park in Arkansas, as well as a quick stint up to Lake Ouachita, all before driving back in the perfect storm from hell. Luckily we did encounter anything too crazy. :)
