Mount Timpanogos

June has been HOT and while I had several people interested in Timp "sometime this year", I couldn't bear to watch the snow melt any longer. Timpanogos in June is a truly magical place...raging waterfalls, green, wildflowers, streams, snow, cliffs, etc...I had to get up there. So I took the day off and did a solo job. I just went up the Aspen Grove side, straight up the glacier, and then back down the same way. The snow was actually soft enough to do a controlled Swiss Bob right from the top, that is a first. Timp in June on a weekday is a relatively lonely place, also unusual...but great! :)
