Zion National Park - The Subway

I was lucky enough to draw a Subway permit for the next day after doing Orderville. Originally it was going to be three of us, but Rob ripped up his feet so bad (new Chacos) on Orderville that he decided to drive home with Jon instead. Bryan and I made great time through the canyon, and it did not disappoint. It had been three years since I'd done the Subway and I forget how incredibly scenic it is. Amazing sandstone features, crystal clear water, lush green. Really great stuff. A few things had changed, too. E.g., the chockstone you used to swim under...now you climb over and jump into a deep pool.
