Mount Timpanogos - Primrose Cirque

Bryan had recently bought a new pair of crampons and an ice axe in preparation to do Box Elder peak via the Sleigh Runner. We wanted to give them a test run and so the steep snow slopes of Primrose Cirque came to mind. It ended up being a good test as we used the crampons on the way up, and the ice axe for both up and some controlled descents on the way down. The initial plans was to just get to the top of Primrose, but we ended up continuing on to Emerald "Lake" (just a bunch of snow this time of year) and ultimately up the glacier to the glacier saddle. Great June day for a Timpanogos snow climb!
