Mendenhall Glacier Packraft

Leg 3 of my 9-day solo trip is mostly around the Juneau area in Southeast Alaska. I was expecting rain the whole time, so imagine my pleasant surprise to wake up the first morning to blue skies and sunshine. I moved quickly to make the most of my good weather fortune. First I packrafted over to the face of Mendenhall Glacier. I wasn't sure if that was allowed or not, but the ranger lady said go for it. Then I headed over to the Mount Roberts Tramway, went up the tram, and did a several mike hike up into the nearby mountains, eventually ending at Golden Ridge, and was treated to some amazing AK mountain scenery.
