Waterfall Canyon

Anyone who knows me well knows I'm a total sucker for a pretty waterfall. I'd heard of Waterfall Canyon up by Ogden for years and had always wanted to check it out. I finally got an opportunity during an exploratory trip up in the Ogden area. It's a fairly short, if not a bit steep and rocky, hike up to the waterfall. Unfortunately this time of year it was more of a trickle than a waterfall. I'll have to come check it out earlier in the season sometime. It is quite an abrupt drop-off, and you can see that during spring runoff it would be quite a spectacular sight. I was treated to a nice sunset on the hike out.
