Denali National Park

Alaska has eight national parks, and to this point I had only done one - Glacier Bay in Southeast Alaska the previous year. This needed to be remedied. The next two easiest parks to reach were Denali and Kenai Fjords...relatively short drives from Anchorage. It was cloudy most of the time, and I wasn't able to see Denali from the ground...but the bus tour I took was still pretty cool with some great wildlife (dall sheep, moose, caribou). The next day I took a plane tour around the south side of Denali and witnessed some amazing glaciers and surreal scenery...not to mention the summit itself sticking up from the clouds. :D
