Santaquin Peak
April 3, 2018 - Northern Utah
4.4 mi  /  4,652 ft
Santaquin Peak via the north-facing gully at the top of Woodland Hills has also become a bit of a spring tradition. It starts out a little bushwhacky, but the middle third of this route is possibly the best Swiss Bob run we've found anywhere in the Wasatch. It was COLD this day, and I couldn't feel my fingers for a good portion of the hike. Luckily once we got to the summit ridge and into the sun, everything warmed up nicely. Also, unlike last year which was super windy, it was calm and sunny at the summit. Nice! I was able to get some good summit footage with the Mavic. The bob down was fast!
